Boat Rental Guidelines

Welcome to Rumaway Lifestyle! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our customers, please read and follow these guidelines during your rental. By renting from us, you agree to comply with these rules and procedures.

 

1. Safety First

  • Captain-Operated: Our boats are operated by our trained and licensed captains. Passengers are not permitted to drive the boat.
  • Safety Briefing: Before departure, our captain will provide a brief safety overview. Please listen carefully and follow all instructions during the rental.

 

2. Passenger Conduct

  • Behavior: Respect your fellow passengers and the captain. Disruptive or unsafe behavior is grounds for termination of the rental without a refund.
  • Alcohol and Drugs: Alcohol consumption is allowed for passengers of legal drinking age, but excessive drinking or any drug use is prohibited. Our captains have the authority to end the trip if safety is compromised.
  • Personal Items: Keep your belongings secure and avoid leaving valuables unattended. Rumaway Lifestyle is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

 

3. Respect the Environment

  • No Littering: Use the trash bins provided on the boat. Do not throw any waste into the water.
  • Wildlife: Maintain a respectful distance from marine life and do not disturb their habitats.
  • Anchoring: Our captains will handle all anchoring. Do not attempt to anchor the boat yourself.

 

4. Emergency Procedures

  • Emergencies: In the event of an emergency, follow the captain’s instructions immediately. Our boats are equipped with safety and communication equipment to ensure a swift response.
  • Emergency Contact: Keep emergency contact information with you and inform our captain of any special medical or safety considerations you have.

 

5. Additional Information

  • Check-In and Check-Out: Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled rental time for check-in and boarding.
  • Music and Noise: Keep noise levels at a reasonable volume to avoid disturbing others.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed on our boats unless prior arrangements have been made.
